I am a Clinical Nurse Specialist who is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. I have been trained in psychotherapy as well as pharmacotherapy. I strongly believe that psychiatric treatment for children and adolescents works best when we include families, therapists, schools, and primary care providers.
After working with some of the most vulnerable children in the state, I truly understand the importance of fostering a positive relationship between client and provider. I believe in a balanced approach to treatment that includes therapy, evidenced-based use of medication when necessary, and in some cases genomic testing.
